'Australis' E-news

24/07/05

Well the 04/05 Antarctic season is now well and truly over, but i'm pleased to say that it was a great one. 'Australis' did the Ocean Expeditions proud, pushing deep into the Antarctic Peninsula & setting some record times for the Drake Crossings !! We are now looking forward to the 05/06 Antarctic season & doing it all again in a jam packed summer!!

Along with the new boat comes a new websight, new destinations, and BIG plans......

Cheers,
Ben.

Keeping Antarctica Pristine.

'Australis' has just become the first & only Australian yacht to become a provisional member of the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO) where the key is to follow a responsible environmental policy. All those visiting Antarctica will be advised of minimum impact practices & minimum approach distances to wildlife.
